So after the huge announcement earlier today about Disney buying Lucasfilm, George Lucas and Kathleen Kennedy (the new head of Lucasfilm) sat down to talk about the future of Star Wars. Here's a short video of them talking about it.

Disney Buys Lucasfilm/SW Ep 7 Planned for 2015

So Disney has bought Lucasfilm for $4 billion with producer Kathleen Kennedy and Lucasfilm co-chair becoming president. Oh and they are planning for Star Wars Episode 7 to be released in 2015. At first I was hesitant to be excited about this but then I was the same way when Disney acquired Marvel, and look at how awesome the Marvel movies have been. So I am a bit excited to see what could be done with Star Wars with the right direction. Look to the Clone Wars series to see what SW can be with a great team behind it. So let's just wait and see. I have moderately high hopes. Let's not get them too high though, we can't forget the prequels.
